Jake obtained his law degree from the University of New Brunswick in 2018. He was called to the bar in New Brunswick in June 2019. Before attending law school, Jake earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2013.

After graduating from law school, Jake completed his articles at the Association of New Brunswick Licensed Practical Nurses, where he gained exposure to regulatory and administrative legal work. He then worked as in-house counsel at an international union, gaining labour law experience.

Jake is happy to be back in Saint John, developing his practice in the areas of labour and employment law and civil litigation.

Community Contributions

Prior to attending law school, Jake coached varsity basketball in his hometown of Campobello Island. During law school, he volunteered as a moot court judge.

After law school, Jake has volunteered as a guest lecturer in both the MBA program and Trial Practice in the Law Faculty at the University of New Brunswick.

Outside the Office

Jake enjoys the outdoors, sports, and anything that reminds him of his hometown. He enjoys hiking, hunting and fishing with his father, playing sports and spending time with his fiancé Natasha. One of Jake’s favourite activities is trying to find new favourite restaurants with Natasha.
