Information

Jake Robinson brings analytical clarity and practical judgment to his corporate and real estate practice. He advises individuals, entrepreneurs and small to mid-sized businesses on real estate and corporate matters, guiding clients through everything from residential and commercial closings to business structuring and governance.

Working closely with clients at pivotal moments, Jake focuses on simplifying complex processes and ensuring that transactions are structured thoughtfully and efficiently. His approach reflects a belief that good legal advice should be clear, pragmatic and grounded in the realities clients face.

I’ve always been interested in how systems work,” he says. “Law lets you work within those systems and help people navigate them in real time.

Jake earned his Juris Doctor at the University of New Brunswick and was called to the New Brunswick Bar in 2021. He joined Lawson Creamer as a summer student, completed his articles with the firm and continues to build his practice as an associate.

In addition to his client work, Jake teaches the Real Property Transactions course at the University of New Brunswick’s Faculty of Law. He leads a practice-oriented curriculum focused on transactional drafting, title review and professional responsibility under New Brunswick’s land titles regime. Teaching strengthens his ability to translate technical legal requirements into practical guidance.

Jake also serves on the New Brunswick Property Law Advisory Committee, contributing to modernization efforts in property law and regulatory frameworks that affect business and real estate development across the province.

Originally from Fredericton and born in Saint John, Jake maintains strong ties to the region. He lives in Rothesay with his daughter and values Lawson Creamer’s collaborative culture and commitment to long-standing client relationships within the local community.
