Over the past few years, prescription of medical marijuana (medical cannabis) is on the rise. As a result, more and more employers are encountering employees who have been prescribed marijuana as a form of treatment. Navigating these issues, particularly in safety sensitive workplaces, can be confusing and frustrating.
