Veronica Ford

Information

Veronica was admitted to the New Brunswick Bar in 2008.

In 2018, Veronica was welcomed into the partnership team.

Veronica’s commercial law practice has seen her supporting corporate clients with contract development, financing and leasing agreements, commercial real estate transactions as well as negotiations for business mergers and purchase/sale agreements.

Her estates and trusts practice includes the development of wills and trusts, and support for clients requiring estate planning services and estate administration.

Whether Veronica is serving the needs of individuals or corporations, her approach is the same – she is focused on building relationships through responsive attention to her clients’ varied needs.

Veronica prides herself on her continued professional development and offers her time educating the public and the legal community about legal issues. She is a part-time professor in the University of new Brunswick’s faculty of law and is actively involved in Law Society of New Brunswick, and sits on the Property Law Advisory and Implementation Committees.

Community Contributions

Veronica is actively involved with the community, she has volunteered with many organizations including Girl Guides of Canada and the local minor hockey association. She has held roles on the board of directors of a number of local charities and is currently the chair of the board of the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation.

Recognitions

In 2017, Veronica was awarded a Young Lawyers Leadership Award from the Saint John Law Society.

Outside the Office

Veronica lives in the beautiful Kennebecasis Valley with her partner and two step-children. She is an avid reader and traveler and stays physically fit through yoga, kayaking, running and golf. She is an active hiker and loves spending time in the woods exploring our beautiful province and beyond.
