Oliver Larson

Information

Oliver Larson brings careful preparation and a steady, detail-driven approach to his civil litigation practice, supporting clients through insolvency, employment, corporate advisory and general civil disputes at some of the most consequential moments in their personal or business lives.

Working within Lawson Creamer's litigation group alongside partners Mel Norton and Robert M. Creamer, K.C., Oliver has built his practice around research, drafting and argument – preparing pleadings and correspondence, attending discoveries and refining his work with the guidance of more senior lawyers.

I like that no two files look the same,” he says. “The facts change every time, and that's what keeps the work interesting.

Law was never unfamiliar to Oliver – both of his parents practise law – though he found his own reasons for pursuing it.

I wanted to go to law school before I knew I wanted to be a lawyer," he says. "I saw it as a great foundation – for almost anything.

Oliver joined Lawson Creamer as a summer student during law school, completed his articling year with the firm and continues to build his litigation practice as an associate. He earned his undergraduate degree at St. Thomas University and his Juris Doctor at the University of New Brunswick, and was called to the New Brunswick Bar in June 2026.

Ask him what he values most about the firm, and the answer comes quickly.

My biggest thing is the culture,” he says. “There's a cooperative atmosphere here that I really like – an open-door policy where everyone, from partner to paralegal, is genuinely willing to help.

A native of the west side of Saint John, Oliver lives in Uptown Saint John, less than a five minute walk to the office. When not working, he likes to take advantage of the various food and entertainment opportunities that the Uptown core offers. He enjoys watching and playing sports, and spending time with friends and family, including his fiance and two cats.
